Beschrijving van de brouwerij:

Imperial Baltic Porter with Suska Sechlońska,

Imperium Prunum is an imperial (double) version of the king of Polish beers, Baltic porter. Traditional porters have 21% extract and approximately 9% alcohol. Our beer has 26% extract and yeast has fermented it to 11% alcohol. The beer is black, opaque, with beige fine-bubble foam. Beautiful ruby sparkles are revealed after each sip as they slowly flow down the wall of the vessel.

The aroma is full of dark aromas: coffee, cocoa, chocolate and chocolate pralines generously filled with liqueur fruit. All this floats together with notes of noble alcohol and smoked fruit. Importantly, the distinct smoky note connecting both elements of the beer’s composition comes not from smoked malts, but from the use of Suska Sechlońska – smoked Hungarian plum from the vicinity of the village of Sechna, which has an EU Protected Geographical Indication certificate.

The taste confirms everything that appeared in the aroma. Liquid chocolate and the best Belgian pralines combine with delicate sweetness, roastiness and a slightly sour coffee finish. Noble, warming alcoholic notes allow you to enjoy every sip. All elements – like autumn fog in a mountain valley – are united by the fruity smokiness of plum.
