Eastside Brewing – Hocus Pocus

Description: Top fermented beer, unpasteurised, unfiltered, refermented and aged in keg and bottle.
Visual Appearance: Dark gold in color tending towards orange, veiled, with white, creamy and fairly compact foam with good persistence.
Olfactory notes: Aroma dominated by the aromas of fresh fruit (pear and quince) and candied fruit (orange), white flowers, cotton candy and honey are in the background.
Body and Taste: On the palate we find candied fruit (orange and citron) followed by honey, cotton candy and candied sugar, pear and apple. The imprint of the yeasts used is clearly present with peppery, spicy and slightly phenolic notes.
