ROTT. Brouwers – ROTT.barrels No. IX – Barrel Aged Blend Barley Wine (2024)

ROTT.barrels is the name of our barrel aged series. Unique beers aged in wooden barrels.

For the ninth edition, we chose a classic approach: a barley wine (11.9%) aged in Glenmorangie (Port Finish) and Heaven Hill barrels. The result is a complex and layered beer with tannins and vanilla from the oak, red fruit from the port, and rich caramel notes from the malt. The finish is warming and intense, with hints of tobacco and a boozy touch from the whisky.
