Visual Appearance: Black and impenetrable with a modestly sized cappuccino-colored foam cap.
Olfactory notes: Complex nose with chocolate, coffee, licorice and vanilla in evidence. In the background there is a note of bourbon and wood.
Body and Taste: On the palate the body is full, the consistency is oily. The taste is dominated by coffee and bitter chocolate. As it warms up, the note of bourbon, vanilla and licorice emerges. The alcohol content is perceptible without ever being annoying. The moderate bitterness of the hopping adds to the acidity of the coffee and dark malts, balancing the drink. Carbonation is moderate in compliance with the style.
Recommended pairings: Naturally we recommend pairing Baciami Ancora with the baci di alassio used in boiling during the creation of the must. Obviously, both a bitter chocolate-based cake and a coffee-based cake can go perfectly with this complex beer.
