Eastside Brewing – Old Jorge

Visual Appearance: Copper in colour, with excellent clarity, with white, compact and fairly persistent foam.
Olfactory notes: Aroma dominated by honey and the classic “nutty” note of UK beers (bread crust, biscuit and light caramel). In the background we find the herbaceous hints of hops.
Body and Taste: On the palate the elements already found in the olfactory part return, honey, cereals, bread crust, a light caramel and the spicy and herbaceous part of the “classic” hops used for this recipe. The bitterness is medium, the body between medium and lean while the carbonation is deliberately low to emphasize the mouthfeel and maintain compliance with the style.
