Frontaal – Legacy No.4

Legacy No.4 is an Imperial Stout barrel aged in All Grain, Rye Whiskey, and Bourbon barrels with a touch of vanilla. The roasted base of the stout is enhanced by the grainy, spicy, and sweet influences from the different barrels. The inherent sweetness of the stout is bolstered by the caramel and vanilla notes from the bourbon barrels and the added vanilla. The spicy and earthy notes from the rye whiskey barrel add an extra dimension to the flavor, while the all grain barrels provide a subtle graininess and earthiness.The interaction between the roasted, sweet, spicy, and woody flavors results in a balanced and layered tasting experience.Full-bodied, creamy, and luxurious, with a long, lingering aftertaste of vanilla and wood.
