Comfort Ahead – DDH India Pale Ale 6.5%
We make no secret of just how much we love Mosaic here at Polly’s HQ, whether it’s hot side or cold side, we absolutely love how much this incredible varietal makes our beers pop thanks to the complexity that warrants its name.
After quietly retiring DDH beers from our output in 2022, we’re bringing them back once again kicking and screaming into 2024, with our brew team utilising their talents to the absolute max.
Whilst we’ve done single hop Mosaic showcases before – hello Fickle, Heavy Moon and the ever popular More Than Dreaming – we’ve never gone as big as we have with Comfort Ahead. With one of the biggest hop bills we’ve ever executed on an IPA, this beer is bursting with the typical Mosaic notes; a medley of berries, bubblegum, and mango, with some of the lesser picked up flavour profiles – rosewater, tangerine, as well as earthy bitterness to round everything off.
