Whispers of the Past
A luxurious journey through time and barrel, Whispers of The Past is a Triple Barrel Wheated Imperial Stout born from a rich foundation of Maris Otter, Munich malt, malted wheat, and chocolate malts. This lavish base delivers a velvety, chocolate-forward canvas, first fermented in stainless steel, then carefully aged in wheated bourbon barrels for 8 months. From there, it was double-barreled into maple barrels for another 8 months before completing its evolution with a final 9-month rest in American Single Malt barrels. The result is a deeply complex, soul-warming stout layered with rich notes of fudgy chocolate, bold whiskey character, and a whisper of maple sweetness. Aromas of Criollo cacao, gooey caramel, and charred yakisugi oak rise from the glass, inviting you in. The palate unfolds with flavors of chocolate mousse, dulce de leche brownies, warming booze, and elegant oak tannins.
