Swartland Busy Bee Shiraz - Mourvedre - Viognier

Grape variety/vinification Made from 50% Shiraz, 40% Mourvèdre, and 10% Viognier. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and undergo cold maceration, followed by a fermentation of five to seven days. For added depth and refinement, the wine is then aged in French oak barrels before being bottled. Tasting note Deep ruby red in color with an expressive nose of ripe plums, black currants, herbs, and subtle floral notes. The palate is elegant and fruity, with accents of cherries, cassis, and spices. Soft, well-integrated tannins and a refined toasted touch provide a long, harmonious finish. Food pairing Delicious with lamb, grilled chicken, and mushroom dishes. Also an excellent choice for barbecue dishes, stews, and aged cheeses.
