Primitivo Salento IGT Campo Minimo, Mesola delle Volpi

Grape variety/vinification Made from 100% Primitivo. The grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness in mid-September. Following a cold pre-fermentation maceration of 24 to 48 hours, temperature-controlled fermentation and skin contact take place for approximately ten days. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks, ensuring the pure fruit character and elegant balance are optimally preserved. Tasting note Deep red in color with an expressive bouquet of ripe cherries and other red fruit, complemented by balsamic and Mediterranean herbal notes. The palate is full, round, and soft, with ripe fruit flavors, supple tannins, and a long, persistent finish. Wine/food pairing Delicious with grilled red meat, pasta dishes with rich meat sauces, and Mediterranean cuisine. Also an excellent choice for barbecue, stews, aged cheeses, and charcuterie.
