Description
"600 meters deep in the underground tunnel network of the centuries-old marl caves of Valkenburg, this complex Imperial Stout was allowed to age for 195 days. Aged in bottled-in-bond Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, this beer has developed a refined flavor. The oak adds notes of vanilla and subtle spices, while the bourbon character imparts layers of caramel, dried dark fruit, and a subtle roasted flavor. The result is a rich, complex Imperial Stout that offers the perfect balance between sweet, spicy, and roasted. "Long live the mountain years!"
