Lemon Curd Mega

Lemon Curd Mega Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Citrus & Vanilla Stout No fuss. Just big, bigger, biggest, MEGA. Barrel-aged with a twist of lemon and vanilla. Bon-bon! Back in 2021, we wanted to revisit an early Dugges ambition: not to brew something big, bigger or biggest, but something MEGA! And so the Mega series was born. Big 15% ABV stouts with everything turned up to eleven, extra on top of extra, and a generous dose of absolutely everything you could wish for. And then some. Strangely, surprisingly and somewhat inexplicably, it took us quite a while to brew a more straightforward version. One that truly went back to our roots. So we put that right and closed the circle. Then we aged the beer in barrels. When we sampled the barrels, we discovered distinct aromas and flavours of vanilla and lemon. So we thought: why not turn those up a notch? Really let this beer's unique character shine. And that's exactly what we did. The result? A pastille, a bon-bon, and an absolute treat for anyone who loves lemon, vanilla, candy, sweetness and stout. Dessert in a glass? Pure heaven!
