Description
Triticale, a hybrid of wheat and rye, carries the flavor and aroma characteristics of both base grains, and the beer itself, along with barrel aging, brings these out even more. We aged half of the beer in barrels from Gemenc Whiskey, which had been used to age triticale-based whiskey, the other half went into Tennessee barrels.
